More About Me

I am a 22 year old Chemical Engineer from Dayton, Ohio currently working on my Masters Degree. I am an avid photographer and traveler and would be most content if I could spend my life doing that. Right now its more work my butt off to earn money to do that with hopes that maybe one day i'll get paid to do that. My goal is to see as many countries as possible, collect objects to sit out in my apartment, and have amazing memories with tons of new friends while documenting it all in pictures. I put a few of my better ones on here for people to see, with the full albums linked in my travel blog. I graduated with my bachelors degree in May 2008, and was afraid that I'd lose my chance to travel for a long period of time due to the crappy American work schedule so I took a month and traveled Europe. I had to be back for a wedding so I did the Euro Whirl to see as much as possible as quick as possible. I found I really liked the comfort of the tour since I am a fast paced person (engineering taught me that one) and got to see places I wouldn't have gone to myself. So far I've been to 16 countries including the US. In order they have been Canada, Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, England, Belgium (driving through), Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Vatican City, Switzerland, and France. I am going to Egypt and Jordan in August 2009 on Gap's Egypt and Jordan Adventure and will be backpacking (hopefully) around the world in late 2010 to mid 2011. So far my favorite country has been Switzerland and I would move to Lauterbrunnen in a heart beat if given the chance as I am frustrated with the state of the US as of late.

My Recent Comments

  1. I should also mention that the short cut is going up the very same hill you come back down :-D

  2. Dont take the short cut! They neglect to tell you that its on a steep incline the whole way. A few people on my tour did and regretted it. The long way is a workout, but the views nothing short of amazing.

  3. I had a blast on this tour. Great destinations, fast paced, wonderful relaxing stops in between major cities. Hopfgarten and Lauterbrunnen ended up being my favorites and I would never have gone there if I didn’t do this tour. Most of all, quite affordable too!
